The software that powers unitedmuslims.org has been custom built in PHP/MySQL, with various code fragments used as attributed below. The conceptual phase of unitedmuslims.org lasted nearly two years prior to the commencement of site construction.
Version 1.0 March 2007
- Public preview launch
- Groups and Projects functionalities complete, including project status
- Project types added (campaign, real-world event)
Version 0.5 February 2007
- Limited preview launch to selected advisors
- Projects and Groups functionality completed
- Administrative backend completed
